Through her work as a lawyer, Linda May Ryle champions First Nations people’s equitable access to justice, education and economic advancement. A solicitor admitted to both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, Linda has held government positions in Indigenous and community justice, as well as senior roles at Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Services. She has also served as the corporate coordinator for Girudala Council of Elders and as a director of Barayamal, a charity focussing on First Nations economic participation and entrepreneurialism.
